The Dos and Don’ts of Paper Planning
Paper planning isn’t just about staying organized and on top of things, it can also a hobby. And just like all hobbies, it can be overwhelming when you’re first starting out. In closing this series, I just wanted to point out some dos and don’ts as your putting together your system and choosing books!

Do feel inspired by other people’s planners. Don’t feel bad if your planner doesn’t look like someone else’s.
Do try new things. Don’t feel pressured to do everything all at once.
Do set aside time to play with and organize in your planner. Don’t let that hinder you from actually getting things done.
Do collect supplies and accessories as you go. Don’t break the bank trying to buy everything all at once.
Do assemble your planning team. Don’t use multiple planners simply for the sake of using several books.
Do remember that everyone’s brain works differently. Don’t stick with a system that doesn’t work for you just because it works for someone else.
Do remember that this is a hobby and it takes time to find a groove. Don’t be impatient with yourself or the process.
DO LOTS OF RESEARCH
DO EMBRACE TRIAL AND ERROR
DO ASK QUESTIONS
DO HAVE FUN!!
This post ended up being way longer than I anticipated! I hope you got some ideas from these pages! If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments below!
