I wasn’t planning on doing this you guys but… I could not help myself. My 2019 reading life wasn’t as great as I wanted it to be. I wasn’t as intentional as I should have been and many of the titles I had on my TBR for the year went unread.
I want 2020 to be different. So I decided I needed to shake things up a bit and go back to my reading life roots – a good old fashioned reading challenge.
I haven’t hosted on of these in a couple years and except for the Goodreads Reading Challenge, I haven’t really participated in one in a while! Which is a crying shame cause I used to sign up for multiple reading challenges every year not too long ago! Well all of that is changing because I decided this blog needed a reading challenge in 2020. And while I’m way late to the party, here it is!
I present the OFFICIAL LIVE WELL | STAY FOCUSED 2020 READING CHALLENGE.
HOW DOES THE CHALLENGE WORK?
It’s very simple! Read as many books off of the list of 20 books below before the end of the year. This challenge is meant to guide you to read broadly and maybe even out of your comfort zone! If your goal in 2020 is to read fewer than 20 books, no sweat! Choose however many categories you want from the list to help you reach your goal.
There really isn’t a wrong way to do this challenge. This is just a tool you can use to get you to read more, read well, and keep you on track!

If you currently don’t have a way of tracking your reading, I highly suggest creating a GoodReads account. It’s free and it’s a great way to keep track of your reading goals, read book reviews, and leave comments on any of the books you read!
