I love stationary and office supplies! So when it comes to Bible study, I like to stock up on my favorite supplies. Call me nerdy but having the right supplies makes the process of getting into God’s Word extra fun! So today, I’m going to be listing my favorite supplies that I use in my Bible study!

PENS
First, let’s tackle pens. The weight of the pages in your Bible will determine which pens will work best in your Bible. Currently, I’m primarily using this Bible and one of these scripture journals in my study for reference.
Papermate Ink Joy Gel Pens – I love, love, love these pens! Not only do they come in great colors, they dry super fast and don’t smear. There is some ghosting in my wide margin Bible and scripture journal and it’s even heavier in my Bible with typical thin pages. It doesn’t bother me a whole lot but that’s just my personal preference. I like these pens well enough to deal with it!
Pigma Micron Pens – These are top of the line, made-for-Bible-pages pens. They’re fine tipped which is perfect for writing notes in small spaces (like Bible margins!). A bit on the pricier side but I think they’re worth it.
Pilot Hi-Tech-C Coleto Pens – Speaking of writing in small spaces, Coletos are great for this! You can load the barrels with different ink cartridges, giving you a completely customizable pen. They’re perfect if you want to carry a few colors but don’t want bulk in your bag!
HIGHLIGHTERS
Okay now let’s talk about highlighting. The above pens come in all kinds of colors but if you want color in more of a marker form, I recommend these options.
Zebra Mildliners – I love Mildliners! I use them in my planners and now in my Bible and Bible study journal. They are many options to choose from if you’re putting together a color coding system. They’re also dual-tipped, broad and fine which is super handy! They also don’t bleed on my thin Bible pages! But do a test on a back page of yours first before marking up an actual verse!
Bible Hi-Gliders – These are the perfect highlighters for those thin Bible pages! They’re like a crayon so no ink at all to worry about. The pack includes your basic highlighter colors, perfect for a basic color code!
MISC ESSENTIALS
Now for a few more essentials that I keep around for studying.
Bic Wite Out EZ Correct – I keep this stuff in my desk in multiples. No more sticky, clumpy white out! It’s clean and neat enough to use in your Bible and journal. Takes some of the pressure off of making sure your notes are word perfect!
Post it Notes – This seems like a no brainer but a supplies list wouldn’t be the same without good ol’ sticky notes! I like having these around if I want to write a note in my Bible don’t am not sure if I want to commit to the page in ink. These are a notetaking must-have!
Stickers – Okay, so maybe essential is subjective but I always love a good sticker stash and the faith-based stickers that are on the market these days are too awesome to pass up! So if you’ve got room for a little extra splash, but you’re not into the elaborate doodles and art of Bible Journaling, stickers are the way to go!
